Meyer, who was born in the Tradouw Valley, had a dream from a young age to make premium wines in the Klein Karoo. He and Beate, his wife, who both worked in California’s famous Napa Valley for two seasons making wine, are living this dream. Today Joubert-Tradauw, a family-owned private cellar, makes award-winning wines. Come and enjoy the wine tasting on Friday and stay for lunch. Beate, who runs the Alfresco Deli at the cellars, will launch her summer menu over the Bloom weekend.
