Andries grew up on a farm in Wellington and matriculated at Oakdale Agricultural High School. No wonder then, when the farm on the R62 outside Montagu came on the market, he and Alicia jumped head first to follow their passion and start from scratch their “Walk in the Clouds”. Now, five years later, Tahlia Farm is a prickly pear niche farm with a distillery and a tasting room. They produce alcoholic and non-alcoholic prickly pear cactus gin.
